Windows Protection Suite is a common Windows application which will install itself on your PC and then attempt to perform a series of “antivirus scans”. In the industry, this program is what’s known as a “Fake Antivirus” tool because it actually does nothing to help your computer, and has been designed to steal your personal details & con you into buying the upgrade of the software. Unfortunately, removing the program files / uninstalling this virus generally doesn’t work to get rid of it completely. This is because of the way the virus has a series of false files which continually cause it to dig into your system and become difficult to remove.
The way to get rid of this program is to use an “Anti-Malware” tool on your PC. Anti-malware programs do what this virus pretends to do, which is to scan through your PC and remove all the infected elements which could be on it. By using a program that’s been designed by a large software company (who you can trust), you will be able to send it through your PC and remove WPS.
